Want to do something GRRREAT?

Volunteers provide visitors with a unique and personal Zoo experience. Every year hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours to fulfill our objectives of:

*Education

*Conservation

*Recreation

IMAGE2Dan Watkins has been volunteering since June 2007, he donates three days a week to the Welsh Mountain Zoo and is an invaluable member of our team. Dan has a wide variety of tasks, and no two days are ever the same, whether it be cleaning out the Spider Monkey enclosure or preparing the food for our Sealions. Dan says "I love the staff here at the Zoo, they are really friendly and I would recommend this to anyone". Dan hopes that the experience he has gained from volunteering will help him land his dream job as an animal presenter of the future.
