 The present day upkeep of the gardens is conducted by a small team of qualified gardeners and volunteers who maintain the botanical collections, as well as undertaking bedding schemes and the ongoing planting of trees and shrubs. Ben Lees is our Head Gardener here at the Zoo, and he took time out to tell you what he has been up to in September. Ben and the rest of the team are currently undertaking seasonal bedding and are busy moving trees from the beautiful Sun Dial Garden to the New African Aviary, which is situated near Bear Falls!
