 JANUARY KEEPER OF THE MONTH Gareth Thomas is a trainee keeper here at the Welsh Mountain Zoo. He has worked at the Zoo for 18 months and works mainly with the reptiles. In January, Gareth and four other keepers did a sponsored walk up Snowdon to raise funds for the Tropical House for our two Mississippi Alligators, Albert and Nancy. Gareth and his fellow keepers did the Pyg and Miners track, which took them six hours to complete, Gareth enjoyed the long walk and enjoyed watching Welsh Mountain Goats along the way.
