Zoological Director Nick Jackson said "Brown Bears have always been among the most popular animals at the Welsh Mountain Zoo and we are really pleased to welcome Athina and Fivi all the way from Athens Zoo. As three year old youngsters, they will certainly bring some excitement and stimulation to our resident female Yoghi. It is also good to be of assistance to our Zoo colleagues in Greece and provide a new home for the two young bears, who in the wild would be ready to leave their parents."
