Welsh Mountain Zoo | MARGAY CONSERVATION DAY!

MARGAY CONSERVATION DAY!

Join us on the 23rd of September to learn all things Margay!

We are delighted to welcome Lucy Hughes of CREA – one of our conservation partners here to the Welsh Mountain Zoo - who has come all the way from Panama!

CREA (CONSERVATION through RESEARCH EDUCATION and ACTION) researchers are currently on an ambitious long-term study into Margay, in Panama’s Cocobolo’s Forest. They are hoping to learn as much as they can about the habits of Margay, one of the World’s least-known small cats!

Come along to one of our conservation talks with Lucy at 10.30am and 1.30pm in the WILD Centre.

Don’t forget to also stop by our Margay enclosure, to say hi to our Margay family and to visit our interactive table led by our education team!
