Blaidd the Spider is back this Halloween and they've made some Scarecrow friends!
Unfortunately the Scarecrows are easily spooked and they've hidden around the Zoo when Blaidd visited for SHRIEK WEEK...
Can you find the 5 hidden scarecrows and work out what the Halloween gift was made for Blaidd?
All guests who purchase a SHRIEK WEEK Activity Book at the Admission Gate/Zoovenir Shop can exchange the secret word that they find at the Zoovenir Shop for a special Halloween prize! 🎃🍬🕷️
👻 Spectral Spirits 👻 - Halloween Animal Enrichment
On Thursday 31st October the Eurasian Brown Bears and Meerkats are getting in on the fun with themed animal enrichments made especially for this Halloween's species talks!!
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to see our animals in action as they interact with and explore their Halloween enrichment activities, with the opportunity for Q&A sessions with the Keepers after the talk.

Snow Leopard Week Celebrations
With Snow Leopard Day on Wednesday 23rd September we
decided that one day wouldn't be enough to celebrate Qilian the cub's first Halloween at the Welsh Mountain Zoo!
Instead we are celebrating SNOW LEOPARD WEEK and pushing our celebrations to the Halloween half term to give as many of our guest's cubs the chance to celebrate everything Snow Leopards with us!
Visit our Snow Leopard habitat on the days below to take part in Snow Leopard themed games, activities and a raffle!
- Monday 28th October 2024 - Tuesday 29th October 2024
- Thursday 31st October 2024 - Friday 1st November 2024
All funds raised in the Snow Leopard week raffle will be donated to the Snow Leopard Trust, helping fund vital Snow Leopard conservation efforts around the world!

🕸️ Selected winner will have 14 days to collect Giant Plush Blaidd prize from the Welsh Mountain Zoo Zoovenirs Shop. If not collected within 14 days the prize will be forfeit and a new winner will be selected from valid entries.
