A massive thank you to everyone who donated in our Snow Leopard Cub Name Fundraiser.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ With an amazing £307 raised for the Snow Leopard Trust we are excited to announce our male Snow Leopard cub's name as decided by YOU is Qilian!


If you are a UK tax payer we can claim back the tax you have paid (at no extra cost to you) for your donation which is worth an extra 25% to Welsh Mountain Zoo.

This means that every £1 you give is worth £1.25 to Welsh Mountain Zoo. I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for the current tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given. If you wish to change your mind, please let us know within 30 days.


The National Zoological Society of Wales (NZSW) is a registered charity (Charity number: 514108) that relies on donations in order to support vital conservation projects worldwide. The NZSW is the charity organisation that runs the Welsh Mountain Zoo. We fundraise to generate the resources needed to facilitate our ongoing commitment to conservation, ensuring that the Welsh Mountain Zoo is THE place where conservation comes to life!
