Educators working with all ages and abilities are encouraged to use our facilities, access information and tap into the knowledge of our exceptional staff at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
Our WILD Centre (Wildlife Inspiring Learning and Discovery), offers a diverse range of educational sessions, many linking to the national curriculum and are designed to enhance learning away from the usual classroom in an inspirational environment. Sessions begin for the tiniest of animal-tastic lovers beginning their educational journey in nursery, ranging right up to students in higher education.
For those unable to visit the Zoo, why not bring the Zoo to you? Members of our Education Team are able to join classes at schools and community groups as part of our outreach programme.

We are also able to offer Virtual WILD (Wildlife Inspiring Learning and Discovery) sessions. These sessions are available to schools, higher education facilities and community groups, for all ages and abilities.
Virtual sessions will be delivered from our onsite education centre or around the zoo via a virtual zoo tour.
Sessions can be tailor made to suit your groups needs and interests. We have a range of pre-prepared sessions in line with the national curriculum.
Groups will require a platform to stream the session, we are happy to use a range of platforms to offer sessions.
Sessions cost £30 for 45 minutes, subsequent sessions can be bought (on the same day) for £15 each.
