'Dear Zoo' Letter Writing Trail!

Are you ready for a 🐒🐸 WILD 🐫🐍 announcement?! We're partnering with Venue Cymru Llandudno for a special Dear Zoo Trail!

Journey across the Zoo on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th September, and write to us about each of the featured animals on the free letter provided on entry to the Welsh Mountain Zoo in our 'Dear Zoo' Trail!

To take part all you need to do is:

📝 Write your favourite thing about each of the featured animals on the provided Zoo Letter
📨 Drop off your trail leaflet at our Zoovenir's Gift shop to enter a Zoo goodie bag prize draw.
🎁 Prepare to see if you're the lucky winner of the Welsh Mountain Zoo goodie bag prize!

But be quick! The 'Dear Zoo' trail is for one weekend only and once the Zoo letters are gone, they're gone! 🙀

Dear Zoo Trail Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

INTRODUCTION

1.1. This Prize Draw is operated by Welsh Mountain Zoo - National Zoo of Wales.

1.2. The following terms and conditions apply to the Welsh Mountain Zoo x Venue Cymru Llandudno's 'Dear Zoo' Facebook Competition.

1.3. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Your entry implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as final and binding. We reserve the right to disqualify your entry if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions.

1.4. We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Prize Draw at any time (and for any reason) without notice.

DEFINITIONS

2.1. In these Terms and Conditions (except where a different interpretation is necessary in the context) the words and expressions set out below shall have the following meanings:

Prize: There is one prize to be won of a Zoo Goodie bag from the Welsh Mountain Zoo

Entry Criteria: To enter complete the 'Dear Zoo' trail letter provided on entry to the Welsh Mountain Zoo

Start Date: Saturday 28th September 2024 at 9:30pm.

End date: Sunday 29th September 2024 at 5:00pm.

Notification: Monday 7th October 2024

ELIGIBILITY

3.1. The Prize Draw is only open to guests who have fulfilled the competition entry criteria (completed the 'Dear Zoo' trail letter in full). Employees, partners and contractors (or their families) of the Welsh Mountain Zoo are not eligible to enter. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. We may request such information as we consider reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entrant.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

4.1. Entrants are required to meet the Entry Criteria after the Start Date and before the End Date. Any entries received by us outside this period will not be considered regardless of the reason.

4.2. You may only enter the Prize Draw once. Multiple entries will be discounted and may be disqualified

4.3. We cannot be held responsible for entries which are lost or corrupted or for any entries to the Prize Draw which we do not receive as a result of any technical error, however caused. In addition, we cannot accept any liability for any difficulties experienced in submitting an entry.

WINNER

5.1. The Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries

5.2. The Winner of the Prize Draw will be notified within three days of the Notification Date.

5.3. Details of the Winner’s name and entry may be disclosed by us on our website and social media platforms. By entering the Prize Draw, you expressly agree to permit such disclosure if you are the Winner.

5.4. The Prize should be claimed by the Winner within 24hrs of notification. If the Winner cannot be contacted or the Prize notification is returned or is undeliverable, such Winner forfeits all rights to any Prize, and an alternate Winner may be selected or the Prize Draw may be withdrawn.

5.5. Winners shall not resell, offer for hire or otherwise transfer the Prize to any third party.

PRIZE

6.1. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

6.2. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Winner will receive the Prize.

6.3. An unclaimed Prize may not be awarded. The Prize is strictly non-transferable.

YOUR DATA

7.1. Your personal data will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and in accordance with our privacy policy which governs our use of personal data we collect from you. Any communication you receive will be in relation to the competition.
