FRIGHT WEEK 2022

Join us for Halloween, this October half term: 29th October - 6th November! 🎃

We've got lots of fun activities this spooky season here at the Welsh Mountain Zoo! All activities are FREE with entry.

THE GREAT PUMPKIN HUNT TRAIL

From scary to spotty, are you able solve the animal related clues to find all 9 of our hidden pumpkins? This trail runs throughout the half term (29th October - 6th November) - trail handed on arrival.

SPOOKY STORYTELLING

Join us in our indoor WILD Centre for some spooky storytelling this Halloween! Seating available, stories start approx every 10 minutes. Drop by any time on 2nd and 4th November between 11am-12pm. Stories read in English only.

CREEPY CRAFTS

From recycled monsters to pom pom spiders, creepy craft making sessions will also take place in our indoor WILD Centre on 31st October and 3rd November. Drop by any time between 11am-12pm. Craft materials supplied, donations welcome.

'BOO!' BOXES

Only the bravest will take part in our 'Boo' box sessions! New for 2022 in our WILD Centre, can you guess what's in the box with your hands only? Learn all about these wonderful artifacts from our education team. Drop in any time on 31st October and 1st November between 2pm - 3pm.

PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION

Are you a master pumpkin carver? Enter our competition to win some creepily good prizes! Pumpkins must be carved at home and brought in on entry. Entries will be collected between 29th October and 4th November. Hand your masterpiece into our Zoovenir Gift Shop, where it will be on display before being judged. Winners are announced at 3pm at the Zoovenir Gift Shop on the 4th November and on social media/website the same day.
