Join us all summer long for some zoo-tastic activities!

NATIONAL MARINE WEEK

Join us for marine themed crafts in our WILD Centre, while also learning about marine conservation and our on-site seal rescue centre. Sessions will run on 25th July, 28th July, 2nd August and 5th August between 1pm-3pm. Sessions are free but donations welcome. Please arrive at any time between 1pm-3pm.

WORLD CHIMPANZEE DAY

A Chimpanzee species talk will be held at the Chimpanzee enclosure at 11:30am on 14th July. See board outside Zoovenir Gift Shop for more details.

INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY

A Sumatran Tiger species talk will be held at the Tiger enclosure at 11:30am on 29th July. See board outside Zoovenir Gift Shop for more details.

Tiger themed storytelling will also take place in the WILD Centre on 29th July between 2-3pm. Storytelling sessions are free but donations welcome. Stories will be delivered in English.

INTERNATIONAL OWL AWARENESS DAY

Watch our owls swoop and fly in our free flying bird display on 4th August at 12pm on the flying arena.

Join us for our 'Owl investigation session' where you can learn all about our owls and their unique qualities.

Draw your own owl competition

Open to all ages, please send a photo of your owl artwork to marketing@welshmountainzoo.org to be entered into a prize draw to win your own owl themed WMZ gift bag!

COTTON-TOP TAMARIN DAY

A Cotton-Top Tamarin species talk will be held at the Chimpanzee enclosure at 11:30am on 15th August. See board outside Zoovenir Gift Shop for more details.

WORLD GOAT DAY
