Snow in Summer?! - Visit the newest addition to our Zoo Family, the Snow Leopard Cub!

The Welsh Mountain Zoo – National Zoo of Wales has revealed the sex of its first Snow Leopard cub in a decade… he’s a wonderful baby boy!

You can visit the Snow Leopard cub along with parents Sumbe and Padme at the Silk Road habitat next to the Humboldt Penguins.

We're also offering the chance to vote for the Snow Leopard cub's name!

In celebration of the cub we are running a Snow Leopard Cub Name Donation Drive until the 2^nd September. The Keepers have provided four names and members of the public are invited to donate as little as £1 as a vote towards their favourite. The name that has the most votes will become the cub’s new name, with 100% of money donated going directly to the Snow Leopard Trust. Vote by donation here - https://www.welshmountainzoo.o...

On the Hunt for a Snack?

Adventurers of all ages can visit our Safari Restaurant and Penguin Cafe for a range of hot and cold meals, drinks and light bites.

Serving the freshest and tastiest local fare, we cater for every palate from traditional snacks and treats to vegan and gluten free options. Our commitment to working with local suppliers means we are able to use locally grown and cultivated ingredients, adding an authentic taste of North Wales to our food!

Got a sweet tooth? Why not swing by the Zoolicious Sweet Shop for a treat!

Don’t forget, we have lots of space outside for you to enjoy and relax on the grassy slopes, so there’s plenty of space for picnics.
