A new wooden sculpture is now in place next to our Snow Leopard Enclosure!
Doubling up as a resting place and bench, the new bench forms part of our Silk Road - home of the Snow Leopard enclosure, which opened last year.
Sculptor and artist Edward Parkes was commissioned to create our stunning piece from Douglas Fir, donated by Simon Bellfield of The Oak Frame Company, based in St. Asaph.
Situated in the walkway viewing area within the grounds of the “Silk Road” enclosure, we hope that this new carved bench will provide a wider vantage point to enjoy the animals, while also creating a brilliant photo opportunity!
