From Saturday 5th April to Sunday 27th April 2025, join us for an unforgettable Easter adventure filled with exciting activities, amazing animals, and plenty of springtime surprises. Whether you’re searching for hidden eggs in our sitewide egg hunt, discovering our new tropical butterfly house, or enjoying educational talks from our dedicated keepers, there’s something for everyone at the Welsh Mountain Zoo this Easter!

Woodland Wonder Egg Hunt
Get ready for a thrilling twist on an Easter tradition at the Welsh Mountain Zoo with our Woodland Wonder Egg Hunt!
Every day, 15 eggs will be hidden throughout the zoo, each offering a chance to win one of three exciting prize tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold. With over 300 prizes to be won throughout the Easter holidays, there’s plenty of opportunity for everyone to discover a sweet surprise.
Embark on an adventure as you explore the beautiful grounds and gardens of the zoo, hunt for hidden eggs, and discover what tier of prize awaits you at the Zoovenir Gift Shop—will you find a bronze egg, a silver egg, or the coveted gold egg?
Woodland Wonder Egg Hunt Terms and Conditions
All eggs will be hidden within publicly accessible areas, and where hidden in outdoor areas, eggs will be accessible within reaching distance from footpaths.
- The Woodland Wonder Easter Egg Hunt (forthwith abbreviated to egg hunt activity) runs throughout the duration of the ‘A WILD Easter Escapade’ event (from Saturday 5th April 2025 – Sunday 27th April 2025)
- The egg hunt activity is available to all paying child ticket holders at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
- Only one Woodland Wonder Easter Egg may be redeemed per paying child ticket per day.
- Prizes may only be redeemed at the Zoovenirs Gift Shop, and only on the day of egg discovery
- Redeemed prizes will be provided according to the tier of egg discovered (i.e. a Bronze Egg will be awarded a Bronze tier prize, a Silver Egg will be awarded a Silver tier prize, and a Gold Egg will be awarded a Gold tier prize)
- Redeemed prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other rewards.
- The Welsh Mountain Zoo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged eggs, and reserves the right to modify or cancel the event at any time without prior notice.
