For many people, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is more than a day out, it’s a place filled with memories. From childhood visits to time spent with family, it’s somewhere people return to again and again.
Leaving a gift in your will is a way to protect the Zoo, and the animals within it, for future generations to enjoy.
Some of our supporters choose to leave a gift as a way of giving something back to a place that meant a great deal to them.

Already have a will?
Leaving a legacy to the National Zoological Society of Wales is simple. Your solicitor can easily update your existing will to include us as a beneficiary.
They will need the following details:
- Our address: Welsh Mountain Zoo, Colwyn Bay, Conwy LL28 5UY
- Our registered charity number: 514108
You can choose to leave either a fixed amount (a pecuniary legacy) or a percentage of your estate (a residual legacy).
If you’d like your gift to support a specific zoo project, you can request a “Purpose gift to the National Zoological Society of Wales.” However, we recommend avoiding naming specific species, as needs may change over time. Please contact us for guidance on how to word your gift to make the greatest impact.
