As part of the National Zoological Society of Wales, our non-profit making organisation welcomes people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to explore, discover and enjoy the wonders of wildlife and conservation in a fun and educational way!
Educational Sessions
Discover, Learn & Explore at the WILD Centre!
Our WILD Centre (Wildlife Inspiring Learning and Discovery) offers fun, interactive sessions and guided tours for all ages—from small animal-tastic lovers in nursery to higher education students.
Tailored Learning – Choose from pre-prepared sessions linked to the national curriculum or create a custom experience for your group.
Affordable Sessions – £30 for 45 minutes; additional same-day sessions just £15.
Amazing Animal Encounters – Get up close with sea lions or meerkats! Help create enrichment and feed the animals for a hands-on learning adventure. (£60 for a 20-minute group session, ages 7+, up to 15 people).

Research Students
We support researchers and scientists in exploring the natural world! University and FE students can use our facilities for Honor’s projects and higher degree research and we also assist with global wildlife studies.
Approval Required – All research projects must be approved, so please apply in advance.

Outreach Sessions
Our friendly Education Team is ready to visit schools and community groups, bringing exciting animal artefacts and fun learning straight to your classroom!
Sessions are flexible and can cover a variety of topics to suit your needs.

Travel time
Minimum number of sessions required to book
- Up to 15 minutes – 1
- 15-30 minutes – 2
- 30-60 minutes – 3
