Be an Ally for Wildlife at the Welsh Mountain Zoo! 🐾🛡️
This May half term, we’re going wild for Love Your Zoo Week – and this year’s theme is one that’s close to our hearts: Allies for Wildlife.
Join us from Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June 2025 at the Welsh Mountain Zoo for a week of fun, discovery and conservation action as we shine a light on the vital role we all play in protecting our planet’s precious species.

🌍 Activity Trail: Conservation in Action!
As you explore the zoo, don’t miss our brand-new signage at Ex-Situ breeding programme habitats, spotlighting how zoos like ours – and the organisations we support – are working to protect vulnerable species worldwide.
You’ll learn about the stories of real-life wildlife allies, like those from the Red Panda Network, and discover the powerful impact of your visit on global conservation efforts.
🗺️ PLUS! Young explorers can pick up a FREE educational activity sheet trail on admission designed especially for Love Your Zoo Week! As you journey through the zoo, you’ll learn all about animals that are Vulnerable, Endangered, and Critically Endangered, helping you better understand the importance of conservation action!
🐾 Daily Animal Habitat Pop-Ups – 1pm to 3pm
