Common Emu
(Dromaius novaehollandiae)

Three species of Emu’s existed once but sadly two of those where hunted to extinction and we have only one single species left. The second largest bird on the planet (by height), next only to the Ostrich, and found in the woodlands of Australia, the Common Emu can weigh up to 60 kg.
