Kalij Pheasant

Found from Pakistan to Thailand in the foothills of the Himalayas, the Kalij Pheasant grows up to 81cm with a wingspan of around 50cm. The male and female vary considerably in appearance; the male owning dark plumage with white speckling on its back and bright red colouring around the eyes, whilst the females are fairly plain in comparison.
