With your support, we believe our contributions to conservation research can help prevent the loss of endangered species and encourage others to join us in preserving the planet’s incredible biodiversity.

IUCN Listing: Endangered

With their long black-and-white tails, Ring-Tailed Lemurs are one of Madagascar’s most famous animals! These social primates live in groups called “conspiracies” and love to eat fruit, leaves and even insects.

Sadly, habitat loss and hunting have made them endangered, with only 2,000–2,200 individuals left in the wild. They can live up to 20 years, but their future is uncertain unless we protect their home. Let’s work together to keep these playful lemurs from extinction!
