Welsh Mountain Goat
(Capra hircus)

The Welsh Mountain goats of Snowdonia roam freely in specific parts of the region including the Glyders, Beddgelert, the Moelwyns, Rhinogs, Rhobell Fawr, Cadair Idris and Craig Aderyn. This landrace of goat does not originate from this area but are feral and were either deliberately introduced or escaped from domestication into the wild several hundred years ago
