White-Tailed Sea Eagle
(Haliaeetus albicilla)

The largest bird of prey in the UK, the White-tailed Sea Eagle is almost all brown in appearance with broad strong wings. Sadly, the species became extinct in the UK in the early 20th century; however the current population is becoming re-established following a successful reintroduction programme.
