The partnership brings together two organisations with strong roots in the local community, with a shared ambition to create exciting opportunities for children, families and communities across Colwyn Bay and North Wales.
Through the partnership, the Zoo and Colwyn Bay F.C Foundation will work together on a range of initiatives, including education, fundraising, promotional campaigns, networking opportunities and unique experiences for local children and families.
The collaboration will provide opportunities to bring together the worlds of wildlife, conservation, education and sport, helping both organisations engage with new audiences and create memorable experiences for the local community.
As a charity, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is committed to playing an active role in the community beyond its 37-acre site, while Colwyn Bay F.C Foundation works to use the power of football to make a positive difference to local people.
We’re excited to be working with Colwyn Bay F.C Foundation and look forward to developing the partnership over the coming months, with plenty of opportunities for local families to get involved.
