With sleek black fur, bright red face and a prehensile tail, the Red-Faced Spider Monkey is a true rainforest acrobat! Found in South America, they swing effortlessly through the trees using their long tails and strong limbs.

These playful monkeys love eating fruit, seeds, and leaves and spend their days in close-knit groups. They even recognize friends by licking each other’s chests! But sadly, habitat loss and hunting put their future at risk.
By protecting their forests, we can help keep them safe.
