These sleek swimmers live along the Pacific Coast, with male California Sea Lions growing up to 2.4m long! They love beaches, rocky shores and snacking on fish, squid and crustaceans. In the wild, a California Sea Lion can live up to 20 years. With a special ability to slow their heart rate, they can dive for up to 10 minutes to catch prey! Though their population numbers are strong, they still face threats from pollution and overfishing.
